The story of Talenti began in 2004 with Fabrizio Cameli who, after spending a few years in his family's old marble-working business, decided to set up his own garden furniture business. He uses the skills he has acquired in marble working to create classic-style garden furniture of the highest quality and finish.
He calls this reality, Talenti. The name was chosen almost as a joke; it was suggested to him by friends who esteem him and consider him a true talent in his work. Fabrizio glimpses within this name the beating heart of his business idea: he wants a company that stands out precisely because of its talent and creativity, a company that knows how to keep the ambitious promises it makes, but always starting from a great underlying humility.
That's just how it goes: Talenti stands out right from the start for its powerful inclination towards art.
The first collections are classic: elegant artefacts with an antique flavour inlaid with terracotta stones that are often customised in both form and colour. It is not so obvious: its competitors do not do this, they never really come close to people's desires.
Excellent results and prestigious acclaim soon arrived.
In 2007, during the economic crisis that was sweeping the country, Talenti stepped on the intuition accelerator: something is changing and cannot be left behind.
So other lines are designed, this time with a contemporary feel (opposite to those produced up to that time), which are presented in the same year during a trade fair in Paris.
A courageous and visionary choice that was rewarded and confirmed 7 months later, in Milan when, risking the criticism of customers accustomed to the soft and elegant lines of the classic style, he presented the contemporary style collection at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the most significant international event in the world of furniture.
For this launch, Talenti chose Karim Rashid, a designer who at that very time was reaping great acclaim from the market.
The products made with the American designer were a success; the collaboration with Rashid consecrated Talenti as one of the leading players in the outdoor living market.
This is the first step on the path that brings Talenti closer to several internationally renowned designers, authors of collections that allow the company to enter new scenarios, both in Europe and worldwide.
